The Hogwarts Express

I sat in a compartment, staring out the window. My third-year sister, Ginny, was talking excitedly.
"...and I'll teach you how to do the Bat-Bogey Hex, and everything! And I'll show you around, and..."
I definitely wasn't as talkative as my sister was. I sighed and looked across at Luna Lovegood, who was reading the Quibbler upside down. She lowered it slightly, cocked her head towards Ginny and rolled her eyes.

I heard the sweets lady in the hallway. I found a spare sickle in my pocket and went out and got a couple of chocolate frogs.

I ate the frogs quickly and looked at the cards. "Dumbledore and Merlin," I sighed. "Already got 'em. Want 'em, Luna?"
"No, thanks," Luna mumbled, still immersed in her upside-down paper.

There was an announcement that we were arriving soon. I could hardly wait!

We slowed and came to a stop. I walked out and heard someone yelling, "FIRS' YEARS! Firs' years, o'er here!" I recall Ginny telling me his name was Hagrid. I followed him and we got on little boats.

We turned a corner and we saw Hogwarts for the first time. It was HUGE. My first thought was, wow, that's beautiful. My second thought was, It looks really nice from here. My third thought was, I'm hungry.

The train ride passed quickly; pretty soon, we were at Hogwarts.

I sat on a chair by myself, and thought about this year. I had no clue what was gonna happen.

Pretty soon, we came to Hogwarts. It was a big castle like building. I got even more nervous. What if I got lost? What if I was late to class?

I went into an empty seat and set my stuff down. I picked up my robes and went to change into them. I came back and sat down.
